ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY

Joyful Kookaburra acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters it operates on - 'the Durumbal Peoples', and all Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia, and the Elders past and present.

May we all walk together in deep reverence for healing and understanding, recognizing history and contemporary issues, while working together for a healthier and harmonious society. A society that;

• Respects and acknowledges our First Nation Peoples and their continuing connection to country, culture, and community;

• Values and upholds human rights; and

• Cares for all of  Grandmother Earth’s children (plants, animals, rocks, minerals, soil, water, air).  Not only for those who are here now, but for the next seven generations to come and beyond.
